The Common Tread Amber Desert Sandal is barefoot designed meaning that it has minimal padding and no slope from heel to the toes - just the way its meant to be for growing, moving feet. The new design is a stitch down construction meaning that it is more robust and will stand up against busy daily activity of toddlers and can be handed down to siblings and last for ages! The sole is lightweight and is flexible & non-slip which allows for optimal forefoot flexion and kids love wearing them as they enable movement. Easy to get on, easy to keep clean, ageing naturally. Comfortable and cool for the warmer months. Pairs beautifully with dresses or a pair of shorts. Available toddler sizes 4 - 9.

How to measure

  1. Place a blank piece of paper on a flat surface. The paper should be big enough for your child's foot.
  2. Have your child stand barefoot on the paper, with their heel against a wall. Their weight should be evenly distributed and their foot should be flat.
  3. Mark the paper at the end of your child's longest toe with the pencil facing slightly inward.
  4. Use your ruler to measure the length.

Happy feet!

My little one's go-to shoe. They are soft and spacious for growing feet and the next best thing to going barefoot. They are holding up well with all the puddle jumping and dry off quickly.

Love these shoes!

I absolutely love these shoes, they are well made and comfortable and my little one loves them as well. Whenever I open the cupboard she chooses them and tries to put them on and she walks very well in them. Great product.!

The Only Shoes He Owns!!!

Our boy was born with a defect in his spine. To make sure we give him his best chance, barefoot shoes are essential to encourage optimal development and movement. We are now on our third pair of Common Tread and we are the happiest of parents and our boy is the happiest kid. He can move with the utmost freedom and we can be sure that he is being given the best. The shoes hold up so well and can be used by multiple kids; always a win!

They fit só well.

My little kiddo has REALLY wide feet and we couldn't find any shoes that would fit. Common Tread has been a life saver and their customer service was excellent. I had to exchange for a smaller size and the owner herself helped me do it really quickly. I will definitely be back for another pair when she outgrows these. They're comfy, easy to put on and take off, breathable, pretty, and soft. Everything we wanted in shoes.
