The Common Tread Amber Desert Sandal is designed by an Occupational Therapist in line with barefoot shoe principles, meaning that it has minimal padding and no slope from heel to the toes - just the way it's meant to be for growing, moving feet. They have a stitch down construction for improved durability and will stand up against busy daily activity of toddlers and can be handed down to siblings and last for ages! The sole is lightweight and is flexible & non-slip which allows for optimal forefoot flexion and kids love wearing them as they enable movement. Easy to get on, easy to keep clean, ageing naturally. Comfortable and cool for the warmer months. Pairs beautifully with dresses or a pair of shorts. Available toddler sizes UK4 - 9. Made in South Africa. 

How to measure

  1. Place a blank piece of paper on a flat surface. The paper should be big enough for your foot.
  2. Stand barefoot on the paper, with your heel against a wall. Your weight should be evenly distributed and your foot should be flat.
  3. Mark the paper at the end of your longest toe with the pencil facing slightly inward.
  4. Use your ruler to measure the length.
