The Strata has been thoughtfully designed & developed to include all the barefoot shoe principles associated with the Common Tread brand however the new sneaker has a thin and flexible bucket sole construction, which allows for optimal flexibility and ground feel. The leather upper is premium full-grain deep tan leather and is sourced in South Africa - the leather looks even better with age. The inside of the sneaker is also fully lined with leather.
The form follows the natural shape of the foot allowing room for toes to splay, and enables natural movement.
Please have a look at our measuring guide in the menu should you need help with your sizing selection. Generally the sneaker is true to your usual standard size you wear - this applies to both men and women.

- Place a blank piece of paper on a flat surface. The paper should be big enough for your foot.
- Stand barefoot on the paper, with your heel against a wall. Your weight should be evenly distributed and your foot should be flat.
- Mark the paper at the end of your longest toe with the pencil facing slightly inward.
- Use your ruler to measure the length.
