High-cut, lace up men's shoe perfectly styled for weekend and work wear. Made in South Africa designed with barefoot principles - zero-drop sole, 7mm TPR sole and wide toe box, made from full-grain chestnut brown leather. Comfortable, functional and stylish.
Like any leather footwear, the shoes require some wearing time to soften completely, especially around the fitted ankle area. Comfort level improves with use enhancing that ''barefoot feel''.
The Taiga is named after the largest forested region in the world - evoking the idea of strength, wildness and natural beauty.
Taking you from city streets, to building sites, to bush and mountain trails, to supporting on the sideline at school matches - the Taiga will get you there with it's durable construction and the all-day comfort it provides.
Natural variations/markings may occur across the leather hide. Our first Taiga range is a rich chestnut brown colour with beige laces. Although the images may depict colour differences the product photos with the white background displays the accurate leather upper colour.
Men's sizing: The Taiga run on a half size larger than standard UK sizing - feel free to use the sizing guide to establish your perfect size. ie. if you are usually a 10,5 select a 10 and not an 11. If you are between sizes in other brands, opt for the smaller of the two in the Taiga.
Women's sizing: Take one size down from your normal size i.e. if you are usually a size UK 8, order a size UK 7 in the Taiga.

Why Barefoot Feel Shoes
While Common Tread was founded to help children with posture and development the advantages of barefoot-feel shoes aren't just for kids. Barefoot-feel shoes offer a natural stride, mimicking the foot's inherent movements. This enhances posture and strengthens muscles, often neglected in traditional footwear. They provide sensory feedback from the ground, improving balance and agility.
